Privacy notice
Last updated: October 18, 2026.
1. Who is responsible
Juricio, located at Lago Neuchatel 45, Col. Ampliación Granada, Alcaldía Miguel Hidalgo, C.P. 11529, Ciudad de México, is responsible for the personal data described in this notice, which covers the U.S. service of Juricio. For anything about your data, write to contacto@juricio.com. Accounts are shared with Juricio's Mexican site (the same sign-in); that site has its own privacy notice, in Spanish.
2. What we collect
- Account. Name, e-mail address, organization and role, and either a password (kept only as a cryptographic hash) or your Google account identifier. We also record whether you confirmed your e-mail address.
- What you follow. The cases your organization follows, the names it watches (the text of each name alert), the address that receives each alert, and the alert e-mails we sent.
- Attorney verification. If you ask us to verify you as an attorney: your bar state and number, and the purpose you declare for alerts on a person's name.
- Plans and payments. The plan terms of your organization (plan, start and end dates) and a record of each payment: amount, currency, status, date and Stripe's reference numbers. We never receive or store your card number.
- AI questions. To enforce plan limits we record that a question was asked (organization, user and time). We do not store the text of the question or the case in that record.
- Cookies. The cookie that keeps you signed in, and a cookie that remembers your country and language choice for one year. It is a preference, not a tracker.
3. How we use it
To run the service and your account; to send the alerts you ask for; to apply the limits of your plan; to take payments and keep payment records; to prevent abuse; and to meet legal obligations.
4. Who receives it
- Stripe, Inc. processes card payments. It receives your payment details directly on its payment page, and from Juricio your e-mail address and what you buy.
- Anthropic, PBC provides the AI that writes answers. It receives data only when you ask an AI question: your question and the docket entries selected for that case.
- Service providers that host our systems and deliver e-mail, under contract and only for those purposes.
- We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data when the law requires it.
5. People named in court records
Juricio shows what courts publish. Visitors who are not signed in see people by initials; signed-in members see the caption as the court published it. Juricio does not list juvenile cases, children's cases, protective orders or sealed or expunged records. Search results are not consumer reports, and Juricio is not a consumer reporting agency. If you appear in a record and want us to review it, write to contacto@juricio.com; where we agree, we stop showing it.
6. How long we keep it
Account and usage data, while the account is active. When you ask us to close your account we delete its data, except records we must keep by law, such as payment records, which we keep for as long as accounting and tax rules require.
7. Your choices
You can ask what data we hold about your account, and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to contacto@juricio.com. You can stop any alert at any time from your alerts page.
8. Children
Juricio is for professional and business use and is not directed to children.
9. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice; the date above shows the latest version.
